I received my MSW from the University of Michigan School of Social and have worked at Michigan Medicine since 1998. My focus has been adults living with chronic illness including HIV/AIDS and neurological conditions. I have always appreciated the opportunity to help people navigate and thrive in the face of physical, systemic and emotional challenges.
My interests include working with individuals and their care partners around grief and loss, coping with chronic illness, caregiving, aging/life transitions, depression, and anxiety. I use a strength-based approach and incorporate aspects of CBT, ACT and Mindfulness. I offer a supportive space that welcomes clients of all backgrounds to explore patterns in thinking and behavior and challenge themselves to change and grow in the ways they most value.
